California’s bullet train to (and from) nowhere has just upped its price tag to $105 billion. That is more than two and a half times the voter approved $40 billion, and the first section still is not built out nor anywhere near operational. Think how much could be done with that money for far more critical issues facing the state such as wildfire mitigation, water storage and road improvements. It’s almost criminal.
