Calaveras County Public Works officials issue complete road closures of six roadways due to flooding and road issues.

The Tuolumne Utilities District reports that it has temporarily turned off the water in its ditches to lessen the impacts of stormwater that will collect in them.

Sand is available at various locations due to flooding concerns in the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for Tuolumne and Calaveras counties until 5 PM this afternoon.

Caltrans reports that storm-related road work at the park’s west boundary will close that section of the highway indefinitely.
