Rally Around The Flag And Salute The Troops Coming To Sonora

Sonora, CA — Rally Around The Flag And Salute The Troops is coming to downtown Sonora Saturday evening.
Spokesman Frank Smart says the totally non-political event will start at 7pm with a march from Sonora High School to Courthouse Park.
At that time there will be music and prayers presented for the U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The purpose of the event is to “salute the troops in the foxhole.” Smart is hopeful that some young veterans will come forth and express why a positive morale is so important and what the general public can do to increase that morale.
