Law Enforcement At Scene Of Fatal Accident Near Don Pedro Bridge

Moccasin, CA — The C.H.P. reports that there was at least one fatality following a two vehicle accident at Jacksonville Rd., east of Hwy. 120.
It occurred near the Don Pedro Bridge Crossing at around 3:30pm. According to Officer Tom Wills, two vehicles collided head on.
An Air-Med ambulance is currently on its way to to pick up one of the victims. Wills asks that residents stay away from the area.
Anyone driving from Sonora toward Groveland is advised to take Hwy 108 to Hwy 49, around the back side of Chinese Camp, to Hwy 120.
