Yosemite To Host Pair Of Planning Events
Yosemite, CA — The National Park Service invites the public to participate in a series of public events as part of management planning for the Tuolumne Wild and Scenic River and the Tuolumne Meadows area.
On February 6th, from 12pm to 2pm, a Yosemite forum presentation will be given to summarize the numerous studies and research efforts conducted over this past summer.
Information from this will be used to prepare both the Tuolumne Wild and Scenic River Comprehensive Management Plan and the Tuolumne Meadows Plan.
Additionally, on February 10th and 24th, from 9am to 4pm, the public is invited to become aPlanner for a Day.” The interactive workshops are intended to give participants an opportunity to talk with NPS staff, and work on many issues that are being addressed.
Yosemite Spokesperson Adrienne Freeman says,For people who really care about Yosemite and national parks in general, this is a really great opportunity to get involved.”
