Replacement Blood Drive Set For Bryce Daniel Milnik

Sonora, CA — Next week the Delta Blood Bank in Sonora will be hosting a replacement blood drive for Bryce Daniel Milnik.

Born November 2, the newborn needs a heart replacement because of a hypoplastic left heart syndrome birth defect.

Organizing the blood drive is Karen Gray, a phlebotomist at the Delta Blood Bank. The replacement blood drive is scheduled for the Blood Bank´s regular business hours January 17-20. To make an appointment, call 536-5801.

Bryce´s parents, Danny and Erin Milnik, are former Sonora residents … they now make their home in Merced. Grandparents on both sides of the family live in Sonora.

Donations are also being accepted at DayO Espresso & Smoothies, County Bank in Merced (P.O. Box 0552, Merced, CA 95341) and Sierra Bible Church. Donations at the latter are tax deductible

Bryce is being cared for at the Stanford Medical Center.
