County Supervisors To Discuss Key Issues Tuesday

Sonora & San Andreas, Ca — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will vote on Tuesday whether to continue funding the Groveland Physical Therapy Clinic through March.
The Board had previously planned to operate the clinic through December, but Julie Tanaka has informed the Supervisors that she is interested in taking over operations but will need a few extra months to get everything in place.
Meanwhile in San Andreas, the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will discuss potential staff cuts that could be made to help balance the budget deficit. The Interim Community Development Director, John Taylor, is proposing that eight of the Building Department´s 20 paid positions be laid off due to the tough financial times.
