Sheriff’s Office Identifies Body Found In Mokelumne River

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office confirms that the body found in the Mokelumne River near Salt Springs Reservoir Sunday is that of missing hiker Steve Sid.
The 52-year-old from Stockton had been missing since June 7th. Foul play has not been ruled out, and the official cause of the death is still to be determined.
