Childrens Fair Remains Free

Sponsored by:

The largest free Children’s Fair of the year, will take place this Saturday at the Motherlode Fairgrounds.

This will be the 25th year for ICES to host the fair.

ICES is a childcare resource and referral program that is a public non profit organization. ICES offers a number of services (such as finding childcare services) in both Tuolumne and Mariposa Counties.

Chris McKenzie, the Program Manager for ICES, was Friday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

“We take over the Motherlode fairgrounds with lots of activity, so that your young child will have a fun-filled day,” McKenzie said. “Face painting, crafts, food, games and plenty of entertainment.”

Parents will also be able to find plenty of tips, advise and various health information.

The hours are from 10am – 3pm Saturday April 18th at the Motherlode Fairgrounds.

ICES can be reached at 533-0377 for more information.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
