Jamestown Resident Booked On Attempted Murder Charges
Sonora, CA — 38 year old Michelle Pardina was arrested by Sonora Police officers and booked into the County Jail early Saturday morning on charges of attempted homicide, assault with a dealy weapon, possession of a concealed weapon and criminal threats.
According to the Sonora Police Department report, Pardina approached an un-named customer in Zane’s Bar and said, “I’m going to kill you.” Pardina attempted to stab the customer with a screwdriver but her effort was blocked. She then penetrated the victim’s shirt with the weapon leaving a scratch on his abdomen. Other customers rushed to the victim’s aid.
The incident appears to be centered around a case which occurred in the county April 1, 2009 where Pardina had reported being the victim of a crime to the Sheriff’s Office and had listed the customer as the possible suspect.
