Sonora, CA — While the Tuolumne County supervisors will not conduct their first meeting of the new year until tomorrow, at noon today John Gray will be sworn in as the new District Four supervisor in the Supervisorial Chambers on the fourth floor of the County Administration Building.
Gray defeated 12 year incumbent Mark Thornton in the Primary Election. Gray will be the only new supervisor on the Board. Returning will be Liz Bass (First District), Paolo Maffei (Second District), Teri Murrison (Third District) and Dick Pland (Fifth District.)
Murrison is scheduled to succeed Pland as the Board Chair for the coming year.
