Nine Businesses Cited In Alcohol Sting
Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office has now released the names of the businesses cited last weekend for selling alcohol to minors.
As reported previously, the operation was carried out in cooperation with the state’s Alcohol Beverage Control division, and minor decoys. The idea was proposed to Sheriff Jim Mele by a high school student working on a senior project. The decoys went to 47 businesses in the county. The Alcohol Beverage Control division will also review the report for possible administrative actions and fines. Here is the list of the businesses that were cited:
