A Delano man accused of shaking his baby girl so hard in April she may never regain consciousness is opting to take
his chances with a jury.
Twenty-five-year-old Daniel Torres turned down a plea offer Friday for nine years in prison.
He faces 12 years if convicted when the case goes to trial November 19th.
