Bonds´ Ball Case To Judge

Sponsored by:

Closing arguments wrapped up this morning in the case of who owns Barry Bonds´ record 73rd home run ball.

Judge Kevin McCarthy in San Francisco will now have the task of deciding who gets to keep the prized ball. He said he will announce his decision Dec. 18

The ball landed in Alex Popov´s glove for at least an instant. A pileup ensued and Patrick Hayashi came up with the ball. Both presented their arguments during a two-week trial.

The ball is worth up to an estimated $1 million. It set baseball´s single-season home run record on October seventh 2001.
