Some women are baring it all to protest the possibility of war in Iraq. Fifty women in California took off all their clothes earlier this week and spelled out the word “peace” on a baseball field just north of San Francisco.
72-year-old artist Donna Sheehan says she organized the protest to convey the desperation that she and other women feel about going to war. She called her friends, and they called their friends and soon they were ready to pose for a local photographer. The women aren´t exactly sure what to do with the picture. They´ve all signed documents allowing their images to be sold, with proceeds going to the peace movement.
