Road Closures For Railroad Replacement In Sonora

Road Closures will be in effect while Sierra Railroad replaces railroad tracks in Sonora. Sanguinetti Road east of Old Wards Ferry Road will be closed on Monday, October 7 from 6:00 am until Wednesday, October 9 at 6:00 pm. Eastbound auto traffic on Sanguinetti Road may detour via Old Wards Ferry Road. However, no trucks will be allowed on the detour route.
Old Wards Ferry Road south of Sanguinetti Road will be closed to traffic on Monday, October 14 from 6:00 am until Wednesday, October 16 at 6:00 pm. Northbound Old Wards Ferry Road to Eastbound Sanguinetti “swing line” will be open to traffic. Expect delays in the area and on Mono Way alternate routes.
