An 80-year-old woman is back home, after being stranded in the Sequoia National Forest for two days. Sarah Hilda Brooks says she was hungry and cold after her car battery died in
the eastern Fresno County mountains. She was found Friday evening by two forest workers in eastern Fresno County, south of the Kings River. Brooks was in a ravine about 40 feet from her 1991 Mitsubishi Galant.
