Voting Turnout Should Be Up But Still Disappointing

Hot statewide races such as Condit versus Cardoza and the contest for the Republican challenger for Governor do not seem to be of much interest to the average voter as the March primary election approaches. According to county elections administrator Tim Johnson, turnout numbers will be slightly higher but disappointing just the same.
Some of the more high profile races here in Tuolumne County are the district two and three seats for the Board of Supervisors as well as the contest for the County Superintendent of Schools.
