Many of us have just gotten our Christmas tree, yet University of California scientist want people to think about how they´ll discard of the trees after the holidays.
Researchers are urging people to dispose of their old Christmas trees quickly and properly to slow the spread of pitch canker. That disease has infected trees in 16 counties and can spread from an otherwise healthy looking Christmas tree if it´s tossed into a backyard and left for a long time.
