Fire Destroys Shop Building

The cause of an early morning fire that destroyed a wood working shop on Morris Road in Standard is under investigation.
Deb Fish spokeswoman for the Tuolumne County Fire Department says the fire broke out just after 2:30 this morning in a 2,000 square-foot metal shop building off Tuolumne Road.
The home shop which contained hobby wood working tools and equipment was completely destroyed. No estimate on damages has been set so far.
