Oakland Zoo Seeks a Few Good Pandas

Oakland´s zoo is looking for a few good pandas.
Two Giant Pandas arrived at the Memphis Zoo this spring and an official with Oakland´s Panda Project says if the city was better organized, those pandas would´ve gone to Oakland. But Oakland officials insist their quest is on track to obtain pandas and the Memphis pandas are not the ones promised to Oakland.
So far, zoos in Washington, DC, San Diego and Memphis have gathered enough political clout, and money, to lease pandas from China.
It costs about $1 million a year just for a decade lease.
