Spring Hits the Mother Lode
Spring was busting out all over Calaveras County this weekend. Flowers and fruit tree buds are blossoming into pastel colors, making spring fever just that much harder to control.
Mild daytime temperatures and plenty of sun this past weekend had visitors at Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys enjoying the sights there, including thousands of daffodil bulbs which have begun to bloom along their grounds on Six Mile Road.
Forecaster Alan Armstrong says we´ll see a little more rain and possible snow down to 2,500 feet tonight as another storm blows through from the Baja Coast. Today´s high temperature is expected to be 62 degrees.
