Manager of the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee is hopping down from his post after eight years at the post.
Buck King turned in his resignation to fair officials last week. No word yet on when King´s official last day will be, but sources say it will be after this year´s 75th anniversary event.
Gov. Pete Wilson appointed King to the fair´s board of directors in October 1995, but stepped down when he took over as fair manager in ´96.
