Californians are reviewing emergency preparations and stocking up on food and water as an attack on Iraq appears imminent.
Ana Garcia, a 37 year old legal secretary from Whittier, says “We´re scared. We don´t know what´s going to happen.” Garcia says she´s planning emergency kits to keep in her car and for her 7 year old daughter to carry to school.
Across California, security is tight at airports, bridges, public buildings and elsewhere. Meanwhile, officials continue to assure the public they are working to keep the residents safe.
