Fires East of Valley Springs

Multiple vegetation fires have been reported along highway 12, in the general area near Toyon Middle School, towards Valley Springs.
In fact, two fires have been confirmed east of Valley Springs, but new reports indicate there may be as many as ten spots of fire.
Each fire is estimated at a quarter-acre or less as of 2:15pm.
Fire crews on the scene report a slow rate of spread.
No possible causes are available yet.
