Students Safe After False Bomb Threat

Avery, CA — Avery Middle School is back in session following a bomb threat yesterday afternoon.
The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department responded by evacuating and searching all of the buildings.
The bomb squad along with detectives and the HazMat team were on the scene.
By 2:00p.m. the Sheriff´s Department determined there was no bomb on the campus and students were allowed back into the school.
