California Cigarette Prices May Climb Higher

Sacramento, CA — California could have the highest cigarette prices in the nation.
A coalition of health organizations want to quadruple the state´s cigarette tax and use the money to fund health programs.
If they have their way, the tax would jump by $2.60 a pack, raising the California tax to $3.47.
