Fresno, CA — The National Park Service is planning to send a search team in the summer to climb a glacier in Kings Canyon National Park.
They´ll be searching for bodies of a military airplane crew that crashed there more than six decades ago.
A park spokeswoman says officials are concerned that members of the public may launch their own searches for the bodies of the three men never found.
One body, its head and upper body partially sticking up through the ice and granite of the glacier, was found by a pair of climbers October 16th on Mount Mendel.
