Artichoke Harvest Looks Good

SACRAMENTO (AP) __ Better weather is helping conditions in the artichoke fields — and farmers are reporting a healthy and early harvest.
Growers say the artichokes are coming in about a month early this year, and customers should start seeing them hit the stores as early as the end of the week. California produces all the nation´s domestically grown artichokes.
