Tuolumne County Set To Expand Over Next Three Years

Business in Tuolumne County should continue to expand over the next three years, creating new jobs and opportunities according to the annual Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce Membership Survey just completed.
82% of retail businesses reported increased sales in 2004 and 59% of businesses indicated they would be hiring new employees.
A whopping 81% of the chamber membership believes the national economy will expand this year, while 72% believe the economy of Tuolumne County will expand.
69% of the Tuolumne County Chamber membership believes the county should continue to fund the Economic Development Company, even though the EDC Board of Director announced yesterday they would not seek county funding past June 2005.
