Peterson Shows No Emotion at Sentencing, Jurors Angry
Some of the jurors in the Scott Peterson murder trial were angry about his demeanor during sentencing.
He has been given the death penalty for killing his wife and their unborn son.
Peterson showed no emotion as relatives of his wife, Laci, described their loss. Many in the audience, including former jurors, fought back tears.
One former juror says she´s pleased that Peterson´s next home will be death row at San Quentin. The jury foreman says it´s clear the system worked.
Another juror called the statements from Laci´s family “touching, very touching.”
