Forecasters Warn Of Unseasonable Weather On The Way

Sacramento, CA — Forecasters are warning motherlode residents of a major change in the weather as the week goes on.
The National Weather Service says an exceptionally strong low pressure system is expected to descend from the Gulf of Alaska, bringing with it shower activity and much cooler temperatures to last through the weekend.
The system is also expected to bring snow accumulations to levels as low as 6500 feet by Friday morning.
Anyone planning outdoor activities this weekend is advised to be prepared for wet and cooler weather and to pay close attention to forecasts for the remainder of the week.
