Angels Camp, CA — The local Boy Scouts are readying for the New Year and will open the doors to what is said to be one of the last Scout huts in the nation.
Scout Week takes place in February and on February 4 the hut in Angels Camp will be open to the public.
Located on Depot Road, the hut is used by the scouts of Angels Camp and the Golden Heritage District.
Fellow scouts will be on hand as well as displays.
There are currently 600 scouts in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
