Alleged Carjacking In West Point

West Point, CA — One West Point man had a bummer of a time on Bummerville Road in West Point Thursday.
The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department says 29-year-old Chad Schneider was carjacked after he picked up a hitchhiker at around 2:30 p.m. near Winton Road.
Schneider says the hitchhiker hit him over the head with a flashlight and then took his vehicle.
Reportedly there were two other suspects, a white male and female, involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
