Bicyclist Injured in Bear Valley Collision

Bear Valley, CA — Doris Michaels of Bear Valley is recovering from injuries she received during an accident Tuesday evening.
The 51-year-old Michaels was riding her bicycle on Bear Valley Road and attempted to go around the right side of a 2005 Kia driven by 56-year-old John Williams III of Murphys.
But at the same time Williams was making a right turn into a parking lot. Michaels hit her breaks to avoid the collision but lost control and overturned. When she hit the ground, the Kia´s tire rolled over her left arm.
Michaels was treated and released form Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital in San Andreas.
