Poll Says Californians Support Abortion Rights

Sacramento, CA — A new poll says a strong majority of Californians remain opposed to any attempt to make abortions harder to obtain.
A survey from the Field Poll released today reports that 64 percent of the state´s adults and 70 percent of registered voters favor either no change to abortion laws or support making abortions easier to obtain.
Californians have held a consistent position on abortion over the past 20 years.
Polls have regularly shown between 64 percent and 75 percent of the state´s residents are opposed to making abortions harder to obtain.
