Columbia, CA — The “Boil Water” alert has been lifted for the Columbia area.
T.U.D. Spokesperson Shari Barnett says the tests have come back successful, and they show that the water is safe to drink.
Barnett adds that restaurants in Columbia can now re-open, just in time for Valentines Day.
She says the cause of the excess turbidity in the water is still under investigation. The boil water alert went into effect on Sunday.
