Tuolumne County Recreation presents Hiking Adventures for Adults & Young Adults

Seize the Summer Series

Tuolumne Trails Hiking Adventures is a seasonal Tuolumne County Recreation Department program designed to promote discovery, exploration and enjoyment of The County’s abundant natural beauty. Participants will learn how to assess the weather for maximum safety and comfort.

Interpretive guide offers information on local history, geology, plants, and animals. Hikers will become familiar with proper hiking etiquette and techniques to achieve minimal user impact. All in an inclusive, relaxed environment ideal for meeting new and interesting people. Season specific programs for Spring, Summer & Fall.

Must be able to walk up to 5 miles with ups/downs (sometimes steep). Inclines at a slow pace with rest stops. Something for all skill levels I Beginners

NOTE: You may not be contacted by Your Trail Guide prior to any events, so participants should register then show up at their first registered time ready to hike.

All four hikes are for ages 10 and up and cost $10 or purchase the Tuolumne Trails Hiking Series Package at a discount (price depends on when you sign up details ate Tuolumne County Recreation Catalog

Beat the Summer Heat with four high elevation hikes featuring alpine temperatures, evergreen forests, exposed granite, and breath taking views.
Saturday, JULY. 12th Cleo’s Bath {5.5 Mile Round Trip}
Moderate Terrain: 856ft total elevation gain
Estimated Hiking Time: 4hrs
National Forest Hiking Trail featuring Pinecrest lake and clear water cascade
WEATHER: Will be assessed the day of each adventure for any potential safety issues. If there are any cancellations staff will contact all registered users. All calls will be made no later than 2 hours before scheduled meeting time.
Directions: Take HWY 108 East toward Pinecrest for approximately 29 miles / Look for Pinecrest Lake Signs / Slight right on Pinecrest Road for 1 mile.
Park in the day use parking lot across from the Outdoor Theatre. We will meet at the Outdoor Theatre just across the street.
