Soulsbyville, Ca — Two-year-old Elizabeth ?Lizzy? Hanson of Willow Springs is continuing her recovery at the Stanford Children´s Hospital today following a near Tuesday evening drowning in a creek near her home.

?She is in stable condition, and all of the tubes have been removed,? says close family friend Ron Hamilton. ?She is doing very well, and it looks like she´ll remain in the hospital at least through the weekend.?

Elizabeth was given CPR for approximately 25 minutes before being transported by helicopter to the hospital. Doctors told the family that only 3% of those who go through what she did can expect to survive.

?The family asked me to stress how thankful they are for all of the medical teams that worked on Lizzy over the course of the situation,? adds Hamilton ?It seemed like the ambulance was there within seconds, and they did a phenomenal job of saving the life of their daughter. They are very, very appreciative.?

The parents are David and Jennie Hanson.
