Calaveras County Supervisors To Approve Two Hirings

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County supervisors are scheduled to approve the hiring of two key staff personnel today.

There will be discussion and possible action regarding a resolution to appoint George White as Director of Planning. In addition there will be discussion and possible action regarding a resolution to appoint Thomas Garcia as Director of Public Works and Transportation.

White has served the last eight years as the Assistant Director of Community Development for the City of Petaluma in Sonoma County. Garcia has spent the past 10 years as a transportation planner for the City of Folsom.

The supervisors are also scheduled to adopt a county resolution allowing Bret Harte Union High School District to issue and sell its Series A general obligation bonds.
