Craig Named Sonora High Football Coach

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Sonora High graduate Bryan Craig has been selected to lead the Wildcats varsity football program.

Craig was appointed Monday evening by the Board of Trustees, at the recommendation of Athletic Director Rick Francis.

“He graduated in 1977 and has been in our program for the past 17 years,” says Francis. “He has been the freshman football coach, the defensive coordinator at the junior varsity level, and also the defensive coordinator at the varsity level.”

“He knows the system, has been loyal and is very knowledgeable of the game,” he adds.

Craig takes over for outgoing coach Robert Cendro who accepted a coaching position earlier this year in southern California.
