On Board For Wildcat Roundup

Sonora, CA — It’s definitely a first for Sonora High School.

Wednesday Sonora High School will introduce incoming freshmen to the initial Wildcat Roundup. The day long event is the brainchild of Principal Todd Dearden.

"I did this before at another school and it’s a wonderful opportunity to introduce the ninth graders to campus life, our teachers, placement testing and a chance to see all of our activities including a performance by the Golden Regiment Band."

The incoming students will then be treated to a tailgate BBQ lunch to be followed by the After Party hosted by the Link Crew. A portion of the After Party will be the Welcome to Sonora High Dance. The program will conclude at 7pm.

The entire community is invited to join the festivities for the Band Burger BBQ from 4:30-6pm before touring Sonora in the Round (5-7pm) in the gymnasium.
