Original post at 1:40 p.m.: PG&E is reporting that the lights went out just after 1 p.m. for about 25 customers in the Valley Springs area along Highway 12, Gillam and Double Springs roads. A crew is heading to the scene to access the situation, according to the utility, which gives a 4:30 p.m. estimated repair time.
In San Andreas, 54 customers have had no electricity since around 10:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Highway 49 and Pool Station Road. A crew is on-site working to restore power. The company relays that the outage was caused by an emergency issue, but did not detail exactly what sparked the outage. The utility gives a repair time of 3:30 p.m.
