Arnold Pipeline Project Causes Temporary Road Closure
Arnold, CA — One of the main side roads through Arnold will be closed during business hours beginning this week while trenching and pipe installation crews toil on Calaveras County Water District’s Reach 3A Pipeline Replacement Project.
According to CCWD officials. Blagen Road will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every weekday beginning today through Friday, August 5, while T&S Construction focuses its efforts along the route.
The closure will run from the south end of Blagen Road near Arnold Pet Clinic north up to the Dunbar Road intersection. Road closure signage is posted prominently at both ends of the closure. The best detour, according to CCWD, is Dunbar Road.
Officials add that the only vehicles that will be able to access Blagen Road during the weekday closures are those belonging to residents living within construction area and logging trucks. It will, however, be open to all through traffic on weekends, early mornings before 7 a.m. and evenings after 5:30 p.m.
