Caltrans Road Work
Motorists can expect delays on two Mother Lode highways next week.
In Tuolumne County, Caltrans crews will be doing drainage work on the right shoulder of Highway 120 between the Tuolumne River Bridge and Pettine Vista Point. The repairs begin Monday, November 24 and run through Wednesday, November 26 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Expect 5-minute delays.
In addition, crack seal operations will be conducted on those same days and times on Highway 120 from Highway 49 (west of Red Hill Road) to Chinese Camp (near Washington Street). There will be one-way traffic control causing possible 10-minute delays.
In Calaveras County, expect up to 25-minute delays, as crews will continue the paving work in Murphys. There will be one-way traffic control on Highway 4 from Main Street/Douglas Flat to Meko Drive from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 25.
Caltrans asks that you take alternative routes whenever possible.
