Key Election Dates
Sonora, CA — Now that Labor Day has passed, the campaign season will get into gear leading up to the November General Election.
Tuolumne County Clerk and Auditor-Controller Debi Bautista says vote-by-mail ballots will go out the week of October 6th. During the June Primary, approximately 83% of the ballots counted came by mail.
If you are currently not registered to vote, you have until October 20 to do so. This impacts anyone that recently moved, got married, or will turn 18 on or prior to November 4.
Some of the closely watched local races this November will be T.U.D., Tuolumne County Assessor-Recorder, various school boards, and Supervisor races in Calaveras County.
