Counterfeit Arrest In Valley Springs

A Valley Springs man is being bars today after trying to pay for his Burger King Wopper with a bogus $20 bill.
Calaveras County sheriff´s deputies say 25-year-old Jonathon Wesley Davis tried to pay for his dinner with a counterfeit $20.
Deputies say the bills aren´t good quality: the paper looks and feels wrong, the ink is the wrong color and smears and the printing on the front and back are not aligned.
Davis had outstanding warrants in Stanislaus County and Idaho.
