Water Reserves Dip Low
Tuolumne Utility District´s General Manager Tim McCullough is keeping his fingers crossed that reserve water supplies will hold out through the weekend as Pacific Gas and Electric continues doing annual maintenance on their water ditch system.
Water flow through the vintage system was shut off Monday allowing crews to do repairs on the flumes and ditches.
McCollough says reserve water supplies are beginning to dip lower, even though area residents are conserving water. He praised the effects area residents for keeping water consumption down during this week.
McCollough says water should begin flowing again by Monday Oct. 21.
