Davis Signing Controversial Greenhouse Bill

Governor Gray Davis will be in San Francisco to sign a bill making California the only state to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from cars. The law means the state Air Resources Board must develop regulations that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions from cars and light trucks.
The bill has drawn strong opposition from several republican lawmakers, including Assemblyman Dave Cogdill, who represents the Mother Lode.
