Teen Dies After Head On Collision

A teen driver who suffered major injuries last week in a wreck in Calaveras County has died of his injuries.
Last Monday, 18-year-old Zachary Yeager was driving on Highway 4 east of Telegraph Road, when he went left of the center line and hit an oncoming pickup head on.
27-year-old Caleb Wilkerson of Copperopolis was in the truck that was hit, but was not injured.
Yeager suffered major injuries in the crash.
He was taken via Air Med to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, and then transferred to UC Davis in Sacramento.
He died Sunday afternoon at UC Davis Hospital of unspecified injuries.
